This class focuses on a traditional Yogic breath practice known as alternating nostril breathing or ‘Nadi Shodana’. In Yoga, the breath is used as a tool to move prana (energy) around the body and to calm the mind. Due to the array of positive benefits, Yogi’s have been practising breath work, otherwise known as ‘Pranayama’ for centuries. This particular breath practice will help to balance both hemispheres of the brain, steady fluctuations of the mind, ease mental tension or feelings of anxiety and improve your lung capacity! Relax and unwind with Nadi Shodana!
